Don't Let Carpal Tunnel
What is Carpal Tunnel?
Writing or typing lengthy assignments, making presentations or endless scrolling through mobile phone. All
of this requires vigorous hand motions. Whether you are doing regular housework or office work, your dominant hand is continuously working with you.
This is where the problem begins, and you start to feel a sharp pain in your hand. Usually, people think that it's just from fatigue; it will recover after some rest. But the problem doesn't resolve. You could have an overuse injury in your hand, which is called Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
How can I tell if I have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
Early symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome include pain, numbness and paraesthesia in the first three fingers, and half of the 4th finger is affected in the palmar surface. Pain also extend up the forearm. The affected person has a weak grip. Also, they will have issues with dexterity (skill of hand such as the person cannot draw or write precisely) as he or she used to do when they had no pain.
