Daily Stretch- Lower Back: Quadratus Lumborum

Stretching: Did you know that daily stretching can have more benefits besides that relaxing way to start your day? 

Daily stretching can help increase blood flow, promote a healthier lifestyle, decrease muscle tightness & pain, and lower the risk of injury from basic daily task.

Quadratus Lumborum: This is the lowest abdomen muscle in your body.

The Quadratus Lumborum is located in your lower back on either side of the lumbar spin. This area is the cause of a large amount of lower back pain. The stretch that is shown in the image above is a must if you want to help lower back pain. By doing a stretch like this daily, it will certainly help your lower back pain, especially if you are a person that is constantly sitting all day.

Each day when you wake up, start your morning with a couple stretches like this, working at your desk all day and not supporting your lumbar spine, you are going to feel consistent pain in your lower back.
