Iron Health in Briarcliff has helped with my recovery from multiple injuries and surgeries. Most recently I had a torn meniscus repaired and Angelo help me begin my recovery just two days out of surgery. He very carefully assessed my strength and then pushed me to my limits resulting in an amazingly quick recovery. Three months later and I’m still coming once a week to continue to build strength and stability. The workouts vary every week so I never know what I’m in for. I like that he pushes me to my personal limits I always leave sweating.What I really like about Iron Health is the the therapists work one on one with you. This is not a mill where each therapist is working with three or four patients at one time. The experience is personal and they care for each patient one at a time.I’d also like to mention that their facility is spotless and their communication with patients is excellent.

Absolutely the BEST physical therapy company I’ve ever had experience with and I’ve dealt with a lot of the big ones.I never leave reviews….too lazy and forgetful but I just had to. Big shoutout to JT in Ardsley….the BEST!!! My 92 year old mom is a client and I've occasionally had to reschedule and let’s just say that the ENTIRE staff is competent, friendly, courteous, warm, and patient. Iron Health has been nothing short of amazing and that itself is an understatement. I first went to them when I had a lumbar strain. I went from barely being able to get out of my bed, to moving even better than I was prior to my injury. I have worked with Ryan, Jade, Eric, Tim, and Anthony. They have all been helpful, encouraging, funny, and overall good human beings to be around. They make you push harder and harder each session and produce opportunities for one to reach their full potential of health. Originally with so much back pain, I came to Iron Health to look for a sense of relief. The PT there helped me problem solve and pin point where the pain was coming from and showed me many exercises I can do to find comfort and relief. Amazing staff. My past rehab experiences involved a therapist working with me and at least two other patients. That is not the case with Iron Health. Ryan, my therapist, and I spent the entire 40 minutes together. He monitored every exercise and made adjustments when necessary. I came to Iron Health after PT was prescribed by my orthopedist due to rotator cuff damage first suffered from playing basketball in my youth that exacerbated while doing CrossFit as an adult. I have been primarily treated by Dr. John Ribeiro who, on top of being a great PT, is a CrossFitter as well. His goal for me was to get back to doing workouts that require good shoulder stability and strength. I can safely report that I am back to doing many of those workouts with better technique as advised by John. I'm happy with the care and attention that Iron Health provides from reception to the PTs. Great, easy going environment that will help you get you back on track.

This is my third try at trying to find a Physical Therapy location that met my needs. Without getting into it, Iron Heath is the right place for me: Personal attention from a professional (the entire time you are here), not pushing too hard (but hard enough to make improvements), slow and steady workouts, and focus with a one-to-one therapist that cares (no passing off to a co-worker or assistant). When I first arrived at Iron Health Briarcliff in June, I was so nervous to be walking on both feet in sneakers after over 2 months doctor’s orders of non-weight bearing “don’t let your broken foot touch the floor!” Finally on my last x-ray she said I was ready for Physical Therapy!I met with Dr. Allison the first few sessions who put me at ease right away with her knowledge and experience, and I finally believed my foot was going to come back to life. Dr. Anthony took over the remainder of my sessions and his knowledge and dedication were obvious. I immediately trusted his instructions and guidance. He’d ask for feedback each session and listen patiently to incorporate it into my treatment.The studio is awesome. The whole staff was positive, supportive, fun - 100% dedication to the patients.Yesterday was my 25th and last visit - I graduated! It was bittersweet to realize how well I had healed under their care, yet I’d miss seeing them twice a week! Dr. Anthony is going to update some additional at home exercises to my app as I continue at home, and said to reach out with any questions. I feel so fortunate to have found Iron Health-Briarcliff and would recommend it to anyone! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I've been treated by many physical therapy centers in NYC. I recently moved to Dobbs Ferry. I needed a new facility for my shoulders. My son who lives nearby recommended Ironhealth and Jade. My experience has been 5+ stars. The organization is set up to give the best treatments possible. Jade is extremely knowledgeable and skilled. I can also can see how the other therapist work with their clients and the attention and focus they receive. Ironhealth is a treasure.

A beautiful and clean facility. All Iron Health staff members are consistently friendly and warm-hearted from the moment you walk into the door. All of the physical therapists (shoutout to Dr. John!) make sure you are getting the most out of your sessions and are willing to listen to you and break up the monotony whenever necessary. Came in with a lower back problem (Lumbar degenerative disc disease); I have been in therapy with this team for weeks now and I can tell the progress is significant and very apparent. They take a very hands on and custom approach specific to the patient and the case itself. I like how they push carefully and know when to decrease pressure based on feedback. The entire team is extremely knowledgeable which has impressed me. I had to put a lot of hard work myself but not without the encouragement they provided and the level of care they showed at every step of the way. I highly recommend all of them (JD, Jade, John, Melody, etc). Awesome team!

Update 8/31/22This is literally my favorite place!! I will miss my PT and my physical therapist, Dr. Allison, so much!! ❤️I have been to several PT places both myself and with members of my family. The beat that I have found, to date, is Iron Health, Briarcliff! They blow the others out of the water on all aspects; customer service, courtesy, professionalism, etc…. I started with Iron Health, Briarcliff after I tore my ACL in December, and have continued with them post surgery. They have been amazing throughout the whole process, and I feel very lucky to have found them. I highly recommend them!

My daughter and I have both been doing our physical therapy at PowerHealth in Briarcliff and I could not say enough good things about our experience there. Personally this was my third PT experience in the last year for lower back pain and surgery and this by far has been the best. No comparison to the other ones. Dr. John and Dr. Melody are the best. Absolutely awesome people, they listen, they care and they will make you feel better. Don’t be shy to ask, they will help you with more than just a problem at hand, they will give you an advice on how to improve your overall “feeling better about yourself” attitude.I had to temporarily stop my treatment because of health issues, but they provided me with support outside the office.The facility is spotless, easy to reach and staff is very friendly. They will accommodate your schedule. Plenty of parking available by the DeCicco, but if you require WCHR or a walker, there is a street level parking.Plenty of programs offered. Personal approach.Great place to have in mind if you are scared to go to the gym.

Simply amazing. My daughter was diagnosed with OCD on one of her knees and for about a year it had not healed. I went for a second doctors opinion and the new doctor prescribed physical therapy. My daughter’s experience has been nothing but amazing, she went from almost limping to being able to run without pain in a matter of four weeks. I can not say enough positive things about the team at Iron Health. I have degenerative disc disease and have suffered with back pain since I was 16 years old. I have been in PT on and off for the last thirty years and Jade is truly the only PT that has cured me. I started at Iron Health six months ago with a goal to be able to ski with my children again (having had my second spinal surgery a year ago I wasn't confident that skiing would ever be possible). I am pleased to say that a month ago I was able to ski nearly 30 miles with my kids and I still feel great! Jade is hands on, extremely skilled and knowledgeable, and he keeps the sessions fun so its not a chore to return. All of the staff at Iron Health is amazing and the facility is clean with a great vibe. Highly recommend!

I have been going to see John RIbeiro, DPT at Iron Health in Ardsley for several weeks. All the staff I have met have been pleasant, friendly and helpful. Dr. John has been extraordinary. Let me start by saying that he works one on one with me for the whole session time. I have been to PT in the past and that has been not been the case. After an initial eval, it would be a few minutes with the PT and the rest of the visit with an aide. Dr. John is knowledgeable, patient and easily explains what needs to be done and why. He gives excellent instruction and feedback. He makes sure you understand the instructions he gives and sends videos so you are clear on home exercise assigned. He also helps you to understand that therapy is a slow steady road, not immediate results and why. Not understanding this is one of the biggest reasons I have seen (working in the health care system) for people not completing a course of physical therapy. I unconditionally would recommend John Ribeiro specifically and Iron Health in general for anyone seeking a competent physical therapist and PT agency.

I recently underwent a total shoulder replacement as well as biceps tenodesis. Faced with 6 months of physical therapy I decided on Dr John Ribeiro of Iron Health in Ardsley. Dr. John is an excellent physical therapist and I have already learned so much from him. Another great thing about Iron Health is that I am always warmly greeted by the front desk and they always have a printout of my future appointments ready for me when I arrive. I will update this review as we get further into the rehab process but I am extremely impressed so far. The team at Iron Health really makes me feel like part of the family.

I’ve been going to PT at Iron Health in Briarcliff for a little over 2 months now (1-2 times/week). Allison has been working with me to improve my strength, mobility, etc. on my shoulder. Prior to seeing her I wasn’t able to lift much weight without feeling pain, especially while doing bench press. Within 2 months not only did she improve my mobility, but I was benching 135-145lbs in reps of 8-10.I know there’s still a lot of work to be done, but I know that with the help of Iron Health and Allison’s expertise I’ll get back to 100% in no time.Thanks Allison!!

My experience with Hana Turner was excellent. She took me through the toughest part after my knee replacement surgery. Hana was encouraging and motivating- while pushing me and working me hard. Great hands! She is gifted and I feel lucky to have worked with. The whole Iron Health crew is first class; friendly, professional and they make you feel at home right away.

Iron Health was great and got me back to where I needed to be with physical therapy. I needed help recovering from a knee injury and also wanted to improve my range of motion and upper body strength. This is a great team of people. Dr. Melody Ovalles is the best! She is a real pro who is knowledgeable, responsive, supportive and a really nice person. She is up on the latest developments and great to work with. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. Melody, Jade, Ronny and the whole bunch are top notch. The facility is clean, nicely maintained and well-equipped. If I ever need physical therapy again, this is where will go. Well done!

Dr. jade has been extremely helpful in helping me deal with chronic pain since spring 2021. He listens and structures the treatment plan by constantly checking in as things progressed. Jade's professionalism and easy-going approach has made a qualitative difference during this difficult time. I would recommend Dr. jade without reservation.I have also been seeing the acupuncturist Yoko who has been great. She has been attentive to my needs. I have been astounded by the difference acupuncture has made, at times literally relieving intense pain in one treatment. She is highly professional and attentive to the patient's needs. Iron Health is a fantastic facility and one of the best physical therapy offices I’ve been to. I’ve been seeing Dr. Melody for several months for my hip, neck, and shoulder. This is the BEST place for Physical Therapy! John my Physical Therapist has been terrific at helping me recover from knee surgery. Great that they work one on one for the entire appointment. Many facilities have therapist splitting their attention over multiple clients. All the staff are very friendly which makes for a great atmosphere.

A friend recommended Iron Health because you're assigned a dedicated PT instead of being one of three people treated at a time. Iron Health not only helped me find a surgeon for my hip replacement, John R worked for months preparing me for surgery. His thorough anatomy knowledge helped me understand everything going on in my hip. He maximized every moment in my sessions, gave me exercises for home, and the results were amazing. I was immediately better after the surgery, back to John in a week and walking on my own within 10 days. He even stayed in contact with my surgeon after my surgery. John is the major contributing factor for my success.The front staff is friendly and organized. It's helpful to get my appointments a month in advance along with text reminders. I highly recommend Iron Health to anyone who needs PT.

So fortunate to have found such a great Physical Therapist facility near my house. First off Dr. Melody and Dr. Maria so educated and helpful in my recent injury. As a school teacher I appreciate education on my care plan and also the ability to have trust in each and everyone I see when I go there for treatment. Shout out to Dr Jade and Dr. John as well. I had been many places for Physical Therapy and I was never satisfied with the approaches used in those places; modalities such as TENS, heating packs, until I visit Iron Health where their approach is active, increasing the endurance, the strength and facilitating education to prevent injuries. I felt my therapist there all the time. It was a 1;1 approach with my therapist. I am a therapist my self and during the time visiting Iron Health with Melody Ovalles I learned how to get to know my body not only during the time spent at Iron Health but how to apply it in my daily living skills and at work. She also gave me the tools to continue improving at home what I have learned at Iron Health. It was a very productive experience. Thanks Melody and all the crew at Iron Health where I felt welcome every time I was there!!

Best physical therapy clinic ever, from the DPTs to the front desk staff. John, Maria, Melody, and Jade are all amazing and are always enthusiastic to help you get through your recovery. You can clearly tell they are very passionate about what they do as well. The one thing I love is that this facility offers 1-on-1 PT, which I find super helpful because the session is focused only on you. Came in for a hip fracture and I’m glad to say I’m feeling better and better after each session. The front desk staff is very accommodating as well. They will work with you to design an ideal schedule of upcoming appointments that best fits your availability. Glad I chose to do my PT at Iron Health and I highly recommend!

Physical Therapy is enjoyable?? Over at Iron Health Ardsley, yesI went to my first PT session thinking I would be doing nothing but missing my time that would have been spent in the gym. Little did I know it would turn into something I looked forward to every week. Not only did I see massive results with my injury, I learned more than I ever thought possible about how I got there in the first place and how to prevent injury in the future. If you have the option to go here and strengthen an area of injury (either old or new), go here. No need to look anywhere else.Dean

This place is great, especially if you're an athlete with a sport related injury. I got almost full range of motion back in my shoulder and was competing again in less than two months. The staff are really nice and make you feel welcome every visit. Highly reccomend.
